It's been too long

Since I've posted anything in the last few weeks. This time of year is so much busier, I can't wait for February.
I've been reading a lot of this girls blog, she's fucking great. I put her blog in the list on the right. I found her on Zooey Deschanel's new website which is, as far as I can tell, for most things girls are interested in? I'm not sure, it looks good though and I'm going to explore it more soon.
The weather is really bad right now.

Find: Bomber Jacket

I found this weird 80's style burnt orange bomber jacket a few days ago, and I absolutly love it. It's a bit big for me and I might get it taken in if it annoys me more, but it's so comfortable and warm! I'm going to wear it straight away. 

Up there I'm wearing it with my doc's and my crushed velvet leggings from Monki.

Nails: Snowflakes and Glitter

So, I never thought I was the biggest fan of glitter, until I came across this nail polish in Urban Outfitters.
It was £6 and absolutely worth it, it's so christmassy and sparkly.

I went straight home and tried out another festive design, I'm quite happy with the outcome, they are soooooo bright! Next, penguins on ice I think.

Recently, the weather has been pure ridiculous. It'll be misty and frosty one day then really warm all of a sudden the next and most nights without fail there will be some sort of really nice light in the flat or outside.

Today was the first real day of winter and It was pure lovely.
I went for a walk with Jethro and Jamie to get some coffee and croissants with gloves and scarves on then made cream of chicken soup and watched Gossip Girl.

My first attempt at some sort of christmassy/wintery nails. They turned out okay but I have some more I want to try soon and do better. I used both Models Own and Barry M as a two tone base.

Shop Review: Monki

Finally, I'm so so happy that Monki are finally delivering to the UK. I've absolutely adored their clothes since about a a year ago and kept telling myself that I'd just visit their store when I go to Amsterdam or you know, if im passing through Denmark one day but it just didn't happen.
So last week some New Years plans were getting thrown around the air and Amsterdam came up so naturally I went on to start a wish list and instead was able to just spend almost all of my wages there and then.

Their prices represent real value for money, the average blouse costs £30 which is roughly the same for Topshop if I remember correctly but truthfully I don't really remember the last thing I bought there.
Delivery is only like £3.50 too because it's shipped from The E.U which is better than usually having to shell out on customs tax.

And the skirt, Annelie, which is great. It's so comfortable and soft and can be worn with almost anything. I really want it in tan too.
I love this advert they did last year with Simon Rudholm. It's shot on a Phantom HD and shows off their brilliant illustrations too.

TV: An Idiot Abroad

This definitely has to be one of the best TV shows ever made.

Movie: Drive

So, I know everybody is going on about it, but Drive is really worth a watch.

The soundtrack is incredible, it's shot so well and Ryan and Carey's on screen chemistry is just ridiculous.

I love these photos of Rupert Grint and Tom Felton for Band of Outsiders. Their clothes are really nice, but far too expensive.
